At Dantech Freezing Systems, we have developed a lighting solution that creates the best conditions for both employees and visitors in the industrial hall. The luminaire plays an essential role as they are mounted at a height of 19 meters.

Industrial lighting with high ceilings

Dantech Freezing Systems produces and supplies quality products within the food industry to most of the world. Their impressive production facilities are often visited by customers and partners, which often form the framework for starting a collaboration in this industry. It was therefore extremely important for Dantech Freezing Systems that the lighting solution in their new production facilities in Aalborg was with the latest in LED technology, as there were several important parameters that applied prior to the investment.

Firstly, they wanted an LED solution that would be mounted at a height of 19 meters, and at the same time provide a minimum of 500lux on the floor, in addition to the fact that the glare (UGR value) had to be incredibly low, as the light had to not reflect glare in the large refrigerated displays that are produced in the impressive production hall.

LITE has over the past few years supplied several different lighting solutions to production facilities in Denmark and the rest of Scandinavia. Production facilities with high ceilings are often a problem for customers when they want to upgrade their lighting solution due to the high demands on the light level. But for these tasks LITE has developed the industrial luminaire SIGMA, which can meet all applicable lighting requirements.

After a good dialogue between Dantech Freezing Systems and LITE, they agreed that SIGMA was the correct solution that would meet all wishes in terms of comfort for the employees at Dantech Freezing Systems.

The lighting solution is both daylight-controlled and zoned according to time of day and movement in the production hall.
